About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Number of countries I has been to must be equal or greater than my age.

ABOUT ME

I MOVED TO THIS APARTMENT RECENTLY AND HOPE TO HOST A LOT MORE IN FUTURE, MY PREVIOUS APARTMENT HAD A LOCATION WHICH WAS NOT GOOD FOR CS-ERS, MOST OF MY REFERENCES COMES FROM HOSTING IN MY APARTMENT BEFORE THE PREVIOUS ONE.

I enjoy several things in life, always flexible and feel comfortable in almost any context. I can enjoy a crappy beer listen to reggae in some really laid back pub, but I love imported beer from small belgian or american breweries in a gastro pub as well. I love to travel, of course as most of you guys on this site. Can be everything from, to find a nice coffee shop in a big town, a museum for contemporary art (Whitney in New York and Cer Modern in Ankara are among my favorites). Independent travel off the beaten track is great too (so far Eastern Turkey and Lamu, Kenya). The important thing when I travel is to meet the locals, no matter where, share our life stories, realize that similarities is usually more visible than diversities.

I am openminded and flexible, both in my daily life and when I travel. I am working at Systembolaget, the monopoly stores for alcoholic beverages in Sweden. My interest for wine and beer is both business and pleasure for me.

One thing I really love when I am home in Sweden in summer is swimming and sunbathing from rocks, no sand and just enough salt in the water for your eyes. All year round it is amazing with outdoor sauna, especially in winter, the temperature difference betwwen the cold lake and the sauna is almost a meditative sacral feeling.

I enjoy everything from a relaxed pub to alternative night clubs, everything according to my mood, or my friends or couchsurfers wishes.

But do not be scared if we are different, one of the greatest thing with Couchsurfing is that you meet a lot of different people with diffent stories.

As long as you have the Couchsurfing spirit I will be sure that we have a great time together.

PHILOSOPHY

Explore, do.

Do not analyze to much.

Treat people the same way that as you want them to threat you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love both hosting and surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My major couchsurfing as a traveler so far was in Turkey, I travel around the country, meet amazing couchsurfers, their flatmates, boyfriends and friends, amazing hospitality, Ben Türkiye'ye özledim. I meet some amazing people when I was a host too, some will be friends for life, and I hope they will remember me and Sweden for the rest of their lifes.

Interests

Wine and beer, for example red wine from Piedmont, Italy, white wine from Washington state, USA. But most wines works, nice couchsurfers served me local wines from Turkey and southern Germany, great. When it comes to beer some favorites now are norwegian Nogne O and american Dales, but just so far I wanna continue trying.

Music, Movies, and Books

Nil, she has the most amazing voice in Turkey. Peps Persson, swedish music how make even the most sad person happy.

On the dance floor it can be almost anything, the context is more important.

And I listen to almost any reggae.

My favorite author is Tom Robbins and the best painter is Carl Henning Pedersen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Everything which includes sauna, bath or steam bath, for example indoor in Germany and outdoor in Sweden. Looking forward to hamam in Istanbul.

Flying domestic in Kenya was amazing, Nairobi-Malindi-Lamu, so scenic, choose right side window seat for best Kilimanjaro view.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share knowledge about wine and beer, or just discuss it. Sharing experience about anything in any field, give me a subject and I am pretty sure we can talk about it. Help me to improve my turkish is always appreciated.
