About Me

CURRENT MISSION

currently traveling in Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Scandinavia

ABOUT ME

Lover of life. Pursuer of adventure. Laughing all the time.

PHILOSOPHY

Life offers itself to you. The world is so big! I feel that we are all connected in a very strong, important way and that it's our gift to meet one another, learn and grow, and enjoy each others company. My happiest times have been experiencing a new culture, completely out of my element, learning and feeling so much.

I also feel that fear is mostly a figment of the imagination, so rather than let it hinder your possibilities, instead just go for it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was in Kenya, Summer 2010. From there, I surfed with Claudia + Dan in Vancouver, CA and Greg from PDX which were both incredible, incredible experiences. I hope to both host and experience many more couches in years to come.

Interests

People, design, travel, culture, music. I'm also an avid biker, walker, and soul dancer.

Since moving to Seattle, I've been spending a lot of time outdoors. Mt. Rainier National park is just an hour and a half drive from where I live, and I love to get lost there in the Carbon River Valley Rainforest. Anytime I can be in nature or around water, I'm there. There's something so calming and true about it. Washington has endless, beautiful forests and coasts and I feel lucky to be here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing Big Sur for the first time. So vast! We felt so small.
Meteor shower while cowboy camping in Stehekin, Washington, visiting my brother on his last major trailhead of the PCT.

Teach, Learn, Share

Right now, I'm getting into mixology so I can share with you how to make a delicious, stiff cocktail. I'm also an excellent baker and make the best chocolate chip cookies on the planet. Besides that, I can teach computer skills and anything involved in design.
