About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the Europe - then go to Asia.

ABOUT ME

I am Izidor Furjan (Slovenia) who likes to do studies abroad (I did Erasmus and CEEPUS), meeting new people and gaining knowledge. I see my future in international relations (ex. EU Commission). Otherwise i am geographer, so i never complicate with anything - since i have slept also in the sty, on the bare floor, under the sky etc. I just got used to sleep everywhere. It's hard to write much about myself; in case you are eager to know more let me know or ask me at meeting.
My official introduction would be without mentioning my university degree, but I am mountain guide/ tourist guide - this is what i love to do at the moment. Besides (weirdly maybe) I am truck driver /bus driver / boat driver : ) I went through different non.formal education programmes & like/prefer them - for me it means more than formal education, though it is important for widening people's mind =)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Lithuania, Kaunas, November 2011 ( 1 night )
Sweden, Stockholm, March 2012 (1 night)
Norway, Oslo, March 2012 (2 nights)
Italy, Riva del Garda, August 2014 (1 night)
.... After that I don't count anymore

Those above were official CS experience (first contact through CS). Otherwise i have hosted and surfer like a nomad many times. The most enjoyable is for sure being with someone from different cultural background, to share ideas, opinions and experience. For sure i would like to do more CS, but sometimes i just prefer do not bother anyone at home and go to the hostel (and then have a drink with CS people).

Music, Movies, and Books

I am kind a weird person- I do not like to read books and i do not watch movies often. OK, maybe i watch movies a bit more lately, but still averagely that means a movie per week maybe. I enjoy trilers, horror, true stories, movies with moral.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Finland was the place i was amazed of, system, snow, cold
- I fell in love with Kyrgyzstan :) Going back ASAP.
