ABOUT ME

I like human meeting, to share all types of experiences with all types of people, you always obtain some sort of benefits from it (don't get it wrong I'm not talking about money :D)
I like to travel by myself as I enjoy both loneliness and human warmth.
Being alone feels good sometimes, but soon enough it gets so boring that it just pushes you towards people.
As every human beings I like intensity, and very often I find more intensity on every levels when I travel by myself.
To build my own opinion about things in life is something which is very important to me, I'm curious and always up to learn something new or to hear a good story :)
Basically, here are some (good qualifying of course..!)adjectives that I think can describe myself a bit : open-minded (I know, this one is on every CSer profile !) zen, kind, simple, easy going, honest, smiling.

I want to keep hatred, anger and all that stuff very far from me. We tend to forget the uselessness of those.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined this comunity back in 2012 to organize a travel in which I wanted to visit as much as I could of Great Britain in one month and a half.
What a blast it was to realize to what extent couchsurfing can change your traveller experience. I won't bother you with an endless description, you are registered on the website so you must know what I'm talking about. We'll talk about it when we meet anyway :)
Since then I've simply set couchsurfing as my definition of travelling

Interests

To exchange with people. I like to talk, I believe anyone has something to say. We learn so much that way. Non stop growing !
One big stone in my life is music, I like to listen to it, try to play it, to feel it. I try to go to every kind of gigs, as much as possible.
I use to practice chess in club, and I am learning the go game. Always up for a game :).

I like to walk and to enjoy the environement in which I am, wherever I find myself in. The sense of discovering !
I like to see things, because we can have as much pleasure by seing things as we can have when we are eating something good, or by hearing some nice songs. I can stay for hours sitting in a front of every kind of landscape, even urban landscapes, I like to walk in the streets of a city and to stare at people I meet, creepy me !

Music, Movies, and Books

I could give you some french movie titles, but they are not the same in english so this would be interestless, but to give you an idea, one of my favorite director is Guy Ritchie. I like non-classic films ( which means too often non american films, though there are exceptions ), with the too easy happy-end. I think a good film can bring something to you no matter if this is brought by making you thinking, crying etc etc..

Concerning music, basically I'm listening to everything which contains an overdrived guitar, it goes from blues music to death metal sometimes :)
I switch to a bit of jazz or classical from time to time, I like to listen to reggae too, especially during a live concert.
recently I surprised my self enjoying some elctro/dubstep music, also in live concerts clubs or something.

Concerning reading let's say that my device of mind travelling is rather music than reading :)

Everything is good to learn, the passion you have for something makes it good, respectable and attractive.
I'm open to every kind of knowledge, especially if you know how to craft underpants out of squirrel fur.
