Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
discovering what else is out there & witnessing anthropology in action.
ABOUT ME
I'm an American working & studying in Frankfurt, Germany, and.... umm.... Sorry, I'll have to re-visit this box after giving it more thought. Describing oneself requires a specific talent of which I possess very little :-) I'm a bit biased here anyway. It's like asking a deep water fish to describe the water in which it has lived for its entire existence. To be continued later.... For now, please just read on.
PHILOSOPHY
Pay it forward. Live and let live. Give others the treatment I would like for myself. "Be the change you wish to see."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
by getting up, getting out, and doing/seeing something while encouraging others to do the same. A common stereotype claims that Americans are overwhelmingly ignorant about what happens beyond U.S. borders because they don't venture out to see the rest of the world. I try not to adhere to this generalization. Although I know so many who are exceptions to this unfortunate limitation, I've also encountered individuals who embody it. To these individuals, I always recommend COUCHSURFING as an enriching & affordable way to discover what else is "out there" & to meet great people from all over the world. So basically, I participate by spreading the word with a very BIG MOUTH :-)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am a CouchSurfing novice. I've encouraged many others to take part in this social utility but never have done so myself. A bit hypocritical? Yes, perhaps. I just always used conventional lodging methods for my travels in the past. Now in the present, I would like to embark upon some new experiences and spice up my journeys with CouchSurfing!!
Interests
discovering new lessons in everything and everyone I encounter, stimulating conversations, long walks, laughing really hard, drinking coffee, people-watching, biking, inline-skating, basketball, learning how life is lived in other locales, visiting museums, enjoying music with a nice pulse and message, studying history, international politics, and of course... TRAVELING!

Far too many to list!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well "amazing" is pretty subjective.
Once upon a time, I had an "amazing" internship at the United Nations headquarters in New York City and in Geneva, Switzerland during which I visited the Missions of over 50 countries and attended the United Nations' Security Council sessions.
I've overcome some "amazing" obstacles and challenges to arrive at my current position in life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning new things and information. I like to absorb any and every piece of positive knowledge my thirsty brain can bear. (There's a lot of extra space left in there for it! :-) And I also enjoy discussing my eclectic life and the experiences I've gathered along the way so far.
