Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I've used CS to make expat friends when living abroad. I've also surfed with one girl and have hosted one girl, both of which I am still good friends with. For me, CSing is a way to meet like-minded people.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
After getting my driver's license, I once rented a car and just drove to Boston (from Canada) for my 21st birthday. I had no itinerary or accommodations planned. I'm scared of driving in the dark, so I asked a lady to help me get to Harvard. She ended up letting me stay at her place and spent the next day driving me around, telling me stories about Boston and showing me the sights. This is still my favorite trip to date. I experienced the kindness of strangers and realized that one can just jump into the unknown with the trust that things will go well.
