About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn to surf, ride horses, fly a paraglider, and play drums!
ABOUT ME
I like to think of myself as friendly, communicative, creative, good at languages and everything to do with the visual, smart, funny, open-minded, tolerant, playful.
I don't like to think of myself as overly pedantic, shy, indecisive, unrealistically ambitious but too lazy to do anything about it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In march/april this year I spent a couple of days at a friend's in Geneva and a few days more at another friend's in Budapest. It was great, the accommodation as well as the effort they put into showing me around. But of course, we already knew each other. I haven't had any experiences with people I don't know. Two friends, though, here in Zagreb, Croatia, have recently had some people at their place through Hospitalityclub.org, I met both of those surfers and they were both very nice and their hosts' experiences were positive, so I hope for the same!
Interests
Foreign languages, film and media theory, philosophy (esp. language), design, photography, anthropology (esp. visual and linguistic), music, writing, reading, badminton, frisbee, and, of course, Australian wildlife. Love those marsupials!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Amazing is a big word. When was I last amazed? I guess recently by the Plitvice lakes national park, two hours away from Zagreb, I'd never been there and I thought it was much smaller and not as beautiful as it is, especially in the late afternoon with practically nobody there and fog gathering around the hills and waterfalls.
Teach, Learn, Share
I wouldn't consider myself as anything near an expert in any field, so I don't know if I could really teach anyone anything in the real sense of the word. I guess I have quite a bit of experience in learning languages and I enjoy helping other people to learn, so I'd love to help anybody with any of the languages I speak. I'd like to learn to prepare some exotic foods! I don't know the first thing about cooking though, but it would be a start...
