About Me

CURRENT MISSION

travelling to Holland and then Ireland + reading challenge: read 75 books in one year!

ABOUT ME

outgoing, talkative, optimistic, sometimes a little too loud :)

what I like:
all kinds of animals, nature, coffee, making lists of random stuff, drawing/ painting/ sketching, being creative, recycling trash and make art out of it, languages, colorful stuff, ppl who inspire me to do something better or work on myself, ppl with awesome tattoos or crazy hairstyles, FOOD!, beer (german?? haha), talking to random strangers, making stupid jokes, acoustic music, ppl who can play the guitar or piano, the scent of fresh air after a thunderstorm

what I dislike:
pessimistic people (it's ok to whine from time to time though), know-it-alls (or basically ppl who make me feel like an idiot), people who lick their fingertips before touching money or sheets of paper(O.o), ppl who never try to make a change, the orphan-girl in the movie "the orphan", ppl who put nutella in the fridge!!!, parking my car, the nauseous feeling after eating far too much

PHILOSOPHY

Life is not always a matter of holding good cards, but sometimes, playing a poor hand well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to do more travelling around europe! I can't really host right now, but I'll be able to when I get to college which is gonna be this october..

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was on a roadtrip with 3 of my friends through bavaria in one of those volkswagen buses. we met a really nice girl in Regensburg and she showed us where we can go partying.. she was a little shy, which really surprised me, since we actually though she would be more of an outgoing person.. well, we had a great time together after all- went to an Irish pub..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked as a volunteer in Arizona and Kentucky for a couple of months, camping in tents 90% of the time and living in houses with at least 15 other volunteers in my free time. there was absolutely no privacy, everybody knew each other, like some kind of family.
I saw lots of beautiful places of the US! I worked in the Grand Canyon, Parashant National Monument, Walnut Canyon and even Cumberland Gap Kentucky, where we worked and lived for a whole month. the work included trailwork, fencing and revegetation- it was really tough, but I still enjoyed how much you learn to appreciate things like water, shower, food, company etc.! I also went on a lot of roadtrips: San Diego, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Sedona a.s.o. - during my time working in the middle of nowhere I realized that I love nature more than any city in the world. so many beautiful places to see.
