Overview
About Me
Hola hola! My name is Izzy and I’m a 21 year old Australian travelling South America in my university break: I have just finished my third year studying medicine. I would absolutely love to get to know Colombia from a locals perspective and to learn more about your culture and make some friends along the way!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couch surfing because, although it is nice to meet fellow travellers in hostels, I really want to meet people who actually live in the country. I would love to learn about the country from a local who cala this place home. I hope that one day I might be able to return the favour and show you my home in Australia!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love music of all genres but if I’m going to be honest the 80s are my guilty pleasure: I love Crowded House, Fleetwood Mac, Blondie etc. But I also love people like Khalid, The Wombats, Lorde, and lots of Aussie artists! One of my favourite things about travelling is when a song can unite people from opposite sides of the world!
I probably watch more TV shows than I do movies. I do enjoy a bit of reality tv now and then such as Geordie Shore. I’m very excited for the new game of thrones season though!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have just finished walking the Inca Trail in Peru!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you a bit about Australian culture, music and politics, I would love to learn about your country and it’s stories as well! Tambien yo aprendo espagnol hace 4 semanas y quiero lo mejorar!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share some Australian slang and sayings (we have lots). I enjoy cooking and would love to cook some Australian food for you!
