Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and any chance to meet new people and learn more about other cultures. I have travelled extensively, mainly in India, South East Asia, South and Central America, and I know how it is to be a traveler on a tight budget or to be living in a new place where you do not know anyone. I want to be a friend to those on a journey or those living overseas, or to help others out with a place to stay if I can, and also to meet people along my journeys and keep on adventuring through the world!

I haven't yet used couch surfing that much but I think it is such a great way of meeting other people and discovering new things! I love to get off the beaten track and also to meet locals from the places I visit and get local recommendations rather than just get caught up in the tourist bubble.

I grew up in the UK, but I have also lived in Buenos Aires, Cartagena in Colombia and also in Bordeaux, France.
