I'm Izzy. I work in the outdoor industry, so I move around seasonally. I grew up in California, and I love to be outside, always. People are what give me energy, and I love meeting new friends. I get excited easily, I like to think I have common sense, and I'm always down to try something new.

Travel! Social! Experience!
My first couch surfing experience really changed my life (not a joke!). The generosity and kindness that my hosts offered to me was very eye opening. It made me very excited to open my home to others in the future, and it also gave me an awareness of what I may be able to bring to others lives as a guest.

Interessen

Currently, all I'm all about mountain biking! I love to read, knit, socialize, and be in the sun as much as possible. I like to cook and eat hella dank meals. Meals cooked with others is a way I love to spend my time.

How could I pick just one?
I love bluegrass, folk, rock, country, hip hop, dance, funk, and many other kinds of music.
Books...too many to list. That's kind of a cop out I suppose. Honestly though, I have gotten half way through a book before realizing that I've read it before. I just don't retain as much as I should.
Movies? Nacho Libre!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I got to work in China and South Korea 2017-2019. A wild and unforgettable experience. I worked with kids, guiding hiking, kayaking, camping and other outdoor activities. Including tie-dye.

I want to learn more of others passions. To hear what keeps them moving and going.

Community is the most important thing to me.

Sitting and talking, or getting outside would be delightful.
