ABOUT ME

For me the greatest thing to do is to travel. I love meeting people from all different countries and get an idea about their life and culture and of course seeing the country itself.
I am studying sustainable tourism management, so that later in life I can make it possible for travel-freaks like myself to explore the whole planet and at the same time save this wonderful planet from distruction from the tourism industry.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because it gives the possibility to meet people from all over the world and as a passionate traveller I love how it gets you an inside to a country its people and tradition one just wouldn't get staying at a hostel/ hotel.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I offer my couch and open my home to young travellers. Since I only have a one-room-apartment, I can only host when I have some free time.
But when I have someone over, I love to show them this city, give tips and do things with them.
I am also happy to show the city to someone who is not staying at my place. Just give me a massage.
I also try to go to events every once in a while, or organize something, when i have a surfer here.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started hosting Couchsurfers 2012 after I moved back to Berlin and into my sweet little apparment. I really enjoy having people from all different places over (almost as good as traveling ;) when you can not travel yourself).
I also done a little bit of surfing myself. It's great when people open their doors for you. :)

THE BEATLES!!!
I love everything from Rock to Rock'n'Roll and always willing to get to know new thinks.
I really can't tell what my favorite book is. Maybe "The Perfume" by Patrik Suesskind. I can't even tell what kind of books i prefer.
My favorite Movie is "The Three Musketeers" hilarious!!! But still cultural;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think traveling solo as a girl around half of this lovely planet is pretty amaising!
To just pick four amaizing things I've seen, I'd pick the medeival chinese city Pingyao(very scary at night), the uncountable numbers of stars above the canadian forest (pretty fascinating for a big city girl as myself, were you acctually can count the stars in the sky, usually 5 to 20) and the naked young man in the nearby supermarket wearing nothing but highheels, yes, Berlin-Wedding is always good for surprises, and as soon as one thinks you've seen it all, you see something new ;) And last but not least Aurora Borealis. I cannot imagine anything more magical then the Northern Lights. Well maybe sitting in a hottap somewhere in the mountains in Iceland while watching them :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to answer all your questions you have about Berlin and/ or Germany as good as I can. Share travel experiences, help with your German skills ;)
I am always curious about other countries and cultures.
When i'm able to rent a boat I could also teach you a bit of sailing (I'm not a pro though).

What I Can Share with Hosts

Travel experience of course. Also I think its nice to cook together, go out for a drink and such things.
