Overview
About Me
I am very polite, trust-worthy and appreciative of Couchsurfing hosts. I promise I will be a fantastic guest in your home.
Couchsurfing for me is about making friends - not lowering travel costs.
I want to meet friendly people who I can take out to dinner and spend some time getting to know, and in the future, I want to welcome you to my home in Australia.
CURRENT MISSION
Making the most of life: work, travel, explore, create!
ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Isobel. I work on a project in rural Australia. I work 3 weeks on, and then have 1 week off. I travel every week off because I don't know how much longer I will have this wonderful opportunity to balance working and travelling so well!
In 2006 I lived in Basel, Switzerland and spent the year working as an au pair and travelled all over Europe. I have also spent time in Canada, USA, New Zealand, the Carribean, Japan and Indonesia. When I was younger, my parents quit their jobs and we travelled Australia for a year. I also work on projects all over Australia and just love my home country, so I've got a lot of tips!
I haven't used Couchsurfing in years but after hosting a few people recently through friends-of-friends and really enjoying the experience, I can't wait to start using it again!
