I love the concept of having a worldwide community of travelers who are just genuinely interested in meeting other people and making connections with like-minded people. This is exactly what I'm keen for as I love to meet people and especially get to know the locals of a place that I'm visiting. They're the real life of any place. I think it's also a very important thing that Couchsurfing allows all this without money getting in the way; simply genuine hospitality and openness which can sometimes be hard to find.
I look forward to the people I'll get to meet through this, and one day to host others when I have my own place.

Very much enjoy a variety of music, so I can't really pinpoint any one genre. Recently been getting into more electronic stuff, psy-trance, bit of techno. All about trading books or just solid suggestions. Generally just pick up opshop books and pass them on when I'm done. Pivotal books for me, Exodus by Julie Bertagna, 1984 by Orwell, The Celestine Prophecy.
