About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to get out of this city and into yours

ABOUT ME

We've been together for a year and a half now, we are both fun loving as well as caring people. aside all the cheesy banter: i make excellent quiche, mussels, lasagne, roast etc and Izzy's the cake's expert

i play saxophone & clarinet in a ten piece gyphop band, you'll have to check out our myspace: myspace.com/gentlemystics

PHILOSOPHY

we both love going out and having a laugh but its just as appealing to stay in with a bottle of wine and chat.

your experience is only as good as your company

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i've been hosted twice and i've let 2 sets of lucky travelers into my lovely flat. had a barrel of laughs one occasion and the other was film bof convention 2009- they certainly knew their shit it was great.

couchsurfers spread the word.........

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i was hosted by a great guy in Amsterdam for a few nights on my way back from istanbul to london. it was quite a rustic place as they'd only been in the 4 storey, previously abandoned building for a few months. the company was great but the dwelling/ building site was in the process of becoming a palace (very far from completion).

my only other couchsurf was in my home town when i was stuck for a bed for the week. the guy's now one of my closest pals.

Interests

i think i can speak for both of us when i say we love seeing live music. i cant believe we missed the folk festival in ireland this summer.
next year i'll have to buy a van, put some matresses in the back and drive there with a few friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

watched mouchette last night, thats a great film.
any film with Roberto Bennini. eraserhead. seven samurai, bycicle thieves.

music's impossible to summarise, we'll talk later.

i love art galleries: its what londons good for believe me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

since we both just finished doing art foundations (a one year course) we've been having a bit of a crazy gigging summer - my band played at glastonbury, secret garden party and a few other really big festivals in england.

im really looking forward to the next few months. out of sight of responsibilities

Teach, Learn, Share

i could teach saxophone but sadly thats limited to people that own one- Izzy's a great photographer with all sorts of alternative and specialist darkroom developing under her belt.

i want to see places with help from someone with local knowledge. whatever other surprises are just icing
