About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Take life to the next level.
I moved to France after travelling extensively through North America and parts of Europe, with later trips to Africa. I’ve yet to explore the southern hemisphere or Asia. I also visited Russia on a school trip shortly after the fall of the Soviet Union.
I’ve lived in the Chamonix Valley since the end of 2000, at around 1,000 metres altitude, surrounded by some of the biggest mountains in Europe. I love living in the countryside and waking up to this landscape every day.
I’ve been vegan for roughly 23 years. It’s something I genuinely enjoy and believe in — it makes sense ethically, environmentally, and health-wise. Around two years ago I also cut back on cereals and cereal-based products by around 90–96%. I’m happy to talk about this if you’re curious — there are several solid reasons behind the change.
Mountain sports are still part of my life, though my relationship with them has evolved. You might find me mountain biking, hiking, or climbing from time to time, and I ski with my kids during the winter. I used to be a full-time ski bum, spending most of my time outdoors, but these days I take a more measured approach.
I love the mountains, and I equally love the water. Sailing is something I enjoy whenever I get the opportunity. Music is another long-standing passion — I used to DJ more regularly and still occasionally experiment with electronic music production. I also enjoy photography, though I don’t take my camera out as often as I’d like.
You don’t need to be vegan or vegetarian to surf my couch, but I’m always happy to meet more people who are.
PHILOSOPHY
Self-employed philosopher, seeking balance in the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like to mix up the music that i listen to, i find i prefer to listen to a wide range of genres. I enjoy reading but i don't always have a book on the go, mostly if I'm traveling or have plenty of free time. I don't have a television and rarely watch tv sometimes when there is a tv i find i'm wasting time flicking through the channels, television can be addictive, i enjoy watching films from time to time but prefer not to watch too much trash.
Update. I became a bit addicted to youtube it has messed up
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling was something interesting I used to do more of.
Nearly got crushed by a huge avalanche, cycled across the highest alpine mountains for over two weeks from Switzerland to the coast in Italy.
Teach, Learn, Share
Wanna learn about dj'ing? vegan foods and cooking? how to fix almost anything? I may be able to lend an ear if you have problems that need discussing with someone.
I can teach the basics of welding, soldering, photography, film making and much much more.....
