Overview
About Me
I am a twenty-something year old student who is currently leaving in Quebec, Canada until I return home. Or elsewhere; which is also the reason why I can't offer my couch at the moment. Nevertheless, I am really looking forward to travel different regions in the coming seasons and I am exited in getting to know new people, cultures as well as the different perspectives it brings with it.
Study wise I will (hopefully) finish my Bachelor of Arts in English and Biology in February and start my Masters in Education afterwards.
If you ask my friend about my character traits, the very first comments will be: serving, outgoing, humorous, easy-to-be-with.
I love food. Good food. I love nature; I wish I was a more of a risky person who goes for these nature adventures, even if I don't find anyone who wants to tag along. I love music - I was kind of programmed to do so; growing up as the son of a jazz musician took me into the world of music very early. I enjoy all kinds of music - not that much country and blue grass though.
I am Christian, which is why you will most likely find me involved in church, leading worship and christian youth movements that serve God by loving all of his creation, without exceptions and showing them that they are loved by him. I never felt like an evangelist, yet I find myself called to work in the missions field (-- a very interesting story thats worth to be shared)
In me you'll find an open minded fella who loves to empower and encourage people, loves to hear and share stories about life and enjoys the beauty of the world surrounding us
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love traveling and I love meeting & connecting to people. I hope through Couchsurfing I find, besides a place to lay my down and sleep, people who are interested in sharing cultures, having discussions and broaden our horizons by doing so. Also I am really looking forward to get an "insider" visit and tour through a city and all it has to offer!

Music, Movies, and Books
I really love I would be a "reader". Honestly, I buy so many good books that I am super interested in but in the end I don't make enough time to read all of them. It's kind of funny that I am guilty of that concept of a new generation who gets caught up in Netflix to much.
No matter which medium; for me the story is what's most important and what catches me. Therefore, I can really recommend watching the series "Lost", THESE kinds of stories are really my cup of tea. Book-wise I can really recommend Trevor Noahs "Born a crime" - funny, deep and a great story about the strongest women in our everyday life's: a mother.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I got to know NYC by walking.
Last winter we did a road trip to Nova Scotia with bad tires in the back which caused to back of the car to slide back and forth the whole tour; dangerous af but we made it out alive and it was a lot of fun and a great trip
Teach, Learn, Share
Hence I am a future teacher for English and Biology --- I (obviously) like to talk and have discussions. I love to share and also gain new knowledge.
Anyone who has a guitar and wants to know how to play it, or me playing it to them; I am your man!
Furthermore, I really like to cook and bake; eating new food and/or learning how to prepare it is highly appreciated!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Well, first of all: there are all these useless Bio facts. - did you know, the tongue of a giraffe is blue and about 14cm long?
If your humor is incredibly bad and dry we are going to be a very good team. I'm a person who loves to laugh - so I share a lot of my happiness with others.
Stuff from Germany can be brought to you easily -- want a bottle of German beer, chocolate or cooking knives form my famous hometown Solingen? - tell me and we see what I can get you.
