About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learning for a living and meeting tons of awesome folks along the journey.
ABOUT ME
I love to laugh and I get the nickname 'giggles' almost everywhere I go... mainly because I am awkward and do not take life to seriously to not laugh at myself. I'm compassionate, a feminist, and have random knowledge in lots of different areas. My favourite pass times are un-planned fun with good friends or new faces creating memories I will cherish. There is much more to know so come meet me :)
PHILOSOPHY
A whole lot of love is a good thing :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am currently offering coffee or a drink and potentially a couch in the future. I love meeting new people and experiencing new things so if some fun adventures with me appeals to you don't hesitate to give me a shout :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have travelled in Nicaragua and enjoyed couch-surfing there! I have also met a couple people through other couch surfers and met for some fun and drinks with surfers passing through.
Interests
scuba diving, hiking, pottery, camping, gardening, photography, cooking, dancing, art, music, critical thinking, feminism, environmental and social justice, and being a free spirit. I'll pretty much be interested in anything poeple have to share :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I can appreciate all music but I personally listen to a lot more independent artists and specifically seek out local artists.
I enjoy comedies and Documenteries for movies.
I read a whole lot of non-fiction, the Shock Doctrine- Naomi Klein, Race against Time- Stephen Lewis, the Omnivores Dilemma- Michael Pollan, Full Frontal Feminism- Jessica Valenti. However, I will get lost in a super entertaining fictional piece.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Scuba Diving in the corn islands is pretty darn amazing. I find the most amazing moments are simple and something pretty hard to capture or do justice with words.
Teach, Learn, Share
We can share experiences and random facts that we have learned along the way. Let's see what happens!
