Overview
About Me
In a nutshell, I'm a dynamic soul wrapped in an aging meat suit who's just looking to make the best of this experience on earth while doing what I can to leave this world a little bit better than I found it. I'm creative, queer, busy, neurodivergent, chatty, quiet, thoughtful and always trying to challenge myself to grow. I'm quite personable and can get along with most folks but am also very content to sit on my own in my thoughts or preoccupied with a task. What I most appreciate in others is openness to the world around them, a desire to learn, a relaxed attitude and an ability to be in the moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To push myself to build community both locally and across the world. It can be difficult to form new connections so love the possibility of connection with people and with other Queer folk from across the world.
Have been quite inactive on here over the past few years so am trying to push myself to find places to stay or people to connect with as I meander around.
Interests
In the winter I am really into Curling and keep myself busy with lots of other projects. In the summer I spend a lot of time in my garden or on my bike around the city. I live in a shared home and over the past couple years have converted a lot of the garden space into vegetable gardens so we can grow some of our own food. I try to stay active on my feet and out on adventures in nature or on my single speed whenever I can.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have very broad music taste, indie, country, house, disco, dance dance dance. Lately disco house and dark disco have been my go-to genre's. Currently reading "Learning to Die, Wisdom in the Age of Climate Crisis".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've recently done a 28km canoe 22km bike to some local hot springs near Vancouver. Very long day to get there but once you arrive the hot springs make it all worth it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am handy around the house for fixing, cooking or cleaning. Love learning about different histories and cultures. Love to sit and chat about existence, philosophy, psychology, music, gardening, curling, art etc etc etc.
