ABOUT ME

My studies are german literature, philosophy and geography - I'll teach one day. My passion's always been travelling - I was in all of Europe growing up, then quite some times in Central America, Northamerica, Africa, India - but my favorite is southeast Asia! I'm financing by driving the forklift for german Automobile Industry, working a parttime officejob and, recently, by dealing Poker and Black Jack in worldfamous Casino Baden-Baden.

I'm engaged in the Philippines and will move there 2014 for at least some years.

I'm not sure, if any traveller is ever coming to poorly recognized Mannheim - but you should - it's a good place with way more urban flair then overrated Heidelberg...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

People mostly seem to be like "it's not a free hostelling service" - but honestly, if you just need to save some money in awefully expensive travelling country germany, that's also ok for me... The only thing, couchsurfing really shouldn't be in my opinion is a dating-service! So - straight speaking: I'm not gonna prostitute myself just for a night on your couch, ladies!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed in Bulgaria and hosted in Mannheim but not so much recently... I met so many surfers everywhere but coincidentally - the required preperation and internet-time make the surfing-part actually a bit incompatible with my travelling-style - but still - it's the only social network who's existence I somewhat appreciate.

Amazingly stupid: Messing up my boarding, trying to travel to Tanzania - I ended up in Kenya instead... long story...
