We are an enthusiastic married couple who are looking to share, to learn and to experience. Anne-Marie is Canadian and Juan Carlos is Dominican. We met in Dominican Republic in 2012 and we realised that we had the same appetite for life! Since then, we are best friends! We are a down to earth, living and working in Quebec, Canada for now, but who knows about tomorrow ! We like simple things in life and we could say that we are easy going people who like to travel on our backpacks around the world to get to know people's culture and lifestyle as well as discover new places and enjoy the beauty of mother nature.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Sharing is the key word to make this community to grow and work. We like when we meet other travellers and locals and share a dinner or a trip together while we have funny and interesting conversations which help us learn about each other experiences and points of view.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Since 2011 I have hosted CSers from all around the world and I have enjoyed showing them around my country, hanging out, sharing my knowledge and experience, showing our culture and folklore, getting to know them and making new friends from all around the globe. I have also experience in other countries as much as I can, attending meetings and traveling together with other CSers on trip to the unbeaten paths I have been. I have friends from all around the world and counting. :) Now I am happily married with Anne Marie and we are starting a new chapter as CSers which would like to host and meet other couples to share together our experiences.

Interests

Everything which catch the attention of our senses are interesting for us...We have been living and worked in several destination both Dominican Republic, Mexico, Indonesia and Canada. Now we are Looking forward to return to DR for a 3 weeks backpack trip around the island, and looking for locals and travellers going to the southeast of the island as well as the north coast.

Music, Movies, and Books

We love all kind of music, specially those which scalate into our hearts. We like movie watching prefereable based on true story ones. History & real people experiences books that show us the right way of the humanity on the earth. Music is our soul and it is running in our veins, and History is everyday of our lives...we are making History everyday.
