I am Deaf, 30 years old, from Cleveland, Ohio. I love to be in the Outdoors! Hiking, Camping, Climbing, canoeing, etc.
I work at REI (Recreational Equipment, Inc.)
I enjoy having good times, not a big drinker but do love craft brews.
I am a camp co-director for OYO Camp for Deaf children, and I just love doing all the activities with them because I have a lot of energy!

One of the reasons I'm traveling around Europe is to learn more about my family's heritages. Some of my lineages are: Italian, German, Polish, Russian, Ukranian, and Irish.

Since Beatrice will be with me as we travel through Europe, here is a little about her: She is 26 years old, a yoga instructor, and a student- studying Creative Writing and Environmental Science. She loves to read and she has family in Poland and Denmark. She also works with me at OYO Camp for Deaf children! Though she doesn't have as much energy as me :P She's also Deaf and we're both eager to meet people who are Deaf or know sign language in Europe!!

I am kind of shy, Beatrice is outgoing, and we are both deaf and adventurous! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My girlfriend Beatrice and I are traveling in Europe and we are looking for people to meet up with.
Poland (Zakopane and Krakow), Germany (Munich, Cologne), Switzerland (Zurich, Interlaken), Belgium (Brussels) and Ireland (Dublin).

We are rather new to couchsurfing, but we are eager to participate since the couchsurfing concept fits our philosophy and our budget really well. We are truly grateful for those of you who open your homes to travelers like us and we hope we can express that with respect and peace in our time with you! :)

I love comedy movies but I don't have a TV. I try to be outside as much as possible :)

I used to train in capoeira for around 10 years, I can teach some basics of capoeira.

We love to cook and share vegetarian/vegan food, we've brewed beer and made kombucha. We're huge fans of vegetable gardening and love to learn and teach all of our interests.

What I Can Share with Hosts
