Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was part of a group like Couch Surfing, called Servas, which I partipated in when I was travelling in Europe. I stayed with both families and people living alone, in places I couldn't have reached if not for the contacts I had through Servas. It takes you off the tourists routes and makes sure you meet local people, which is what I crave every time I travel.

Interests

Tried my hand at many things, might become a jack of all trades master of none - love: horse riding, film and acting, writing (currently plotting a novel), camping (in hammocks occasionally), table tennis, surfing and body boarding, books (from fantasy to 19C literature), woodwork (furniture, carving, turning), baking (sweet stuff), hiking (done a lot in Australia), soccer/footy (both European and Aussie), photography (trying to improve), piano, welding, dancing.
