I grew up in Ontario and moved out to the Canadian Rockies to spend some time in nature and to seek adventure - Jasper didn't fall short!

Since my move to western Canada, I've explored new avenues for adventure including climbing, mountain biking, back country camping and snowboarding . I'm always open to being introduced to new and exciting activities that I can develop a passion for (or maybe never do it again!).

My first backpacking trip is all it took to leave me captivated by the lessons the world has yet to teach me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe in giving and receiving an authentically local experience when travelling. Living in a tourist town myself, I am aware of the many areas which locals direct tourists that become overcrowded and do not give a culturally accurate representation of the country/town/city, etc. In Couchsurfing, I am able to provide and be given an experience through a day in the life of the local.
