Hosting others through this site has given me the opportunity to meet a broad spectrum of brilliant people from all over this beautiful planet. I've had guests from all but one continent ...although, I don't imagine that couchsurfing is big in Antarctica.

Regardless, I've enjoyed my time as a host, cohort, and friend to the adventurous souls that I've connected with over the years through this medium. I have made some great friends, and have been given years of experience playing tour guide. It's great! Visitors always have the same days off as me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here for any respectful, positive travelers that would like mind blowing tours, great company, and possibly a place to stay.

I prefer to get out and see this wonderful place, so touring is the perfect means. This is the Big Island, right? Couches are comfy, but I enjoy the discomfort and strain that comes with adventure and excitement. Trekking to amazingly beautiful places and putting myself through the paces is enjoyable, knowing that there's either a shower at every beach park or a hot one at home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Imagine the ground shaking, a loud pop... crack... and terrifying scraping noises as a piece of earth the size of a car lifts upward, and 30,000 gallons of lava spill out behind the fragment, now floating in a river of molten ooze. 30 minutes later lava reaches the edge of the rain forest, and Uluhe ferns and Ohia they grow upon are set ablaze.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I enjoy cooking, cleaning, and good conversation. Preferably all at the same time.
I'm tidy, I smells good, and I have enough of whatever I brought to share.
I won't ask for your Wi-fi password and then ignore you, or assume it's okay to spend all day at your house while you're gone.
