I am a young enthusiastic, outgoing man who is passionate about discovering new places and meeting new people. Being originally from Tajikistan, I have lived in Moscow for a long time. Having returned to homeland, I established my own business in the IT sphere. I got a vast experience in various fields, a lot of acquaintances, and learned extremely useful business and life lessons.

Business and start-ups are on the list of my passions. Three things are most important for me: family, health and opportunity to travel.

As for now, I decided to take time exploring and understanding myself better through traveling. I feel thrilled during my trips, no matter how challenging some of them might be.

I decided to carry out an experiment to measure my willpower and endurance. First, I set a goal to lose weight, and was able to lose 19 kg within five months.

And then I challenged myself to try running as a sport, although I have never tried it before and have not been much into sports. I have been actively training for five weeks, and I prepared myself enough to take part in three half-marathons and two 10-km races, all taking place in Europe within a month:

*two more races are yet to be chosen

I will be extremely thankful for any help my potential hosts may offer, hosting me or helping me explore a variety of places while ‘running around’ Europe.

The community of couchsurfers presents this unique opportunity. I want to become a more active member of this community by contributing with what I can offer, as well as by sharing passions and impressions with other people.

Interessen

I like dancing. No matter what kind of dances, I am willing to learn and get into the rhythm (at least to try to). Dancing is a unique language that enables to convey what is impossible to convey with words.

I love debates. I got into the world of debates in 2011, and then began participating in tournaments around the world and passing my skills on to others. I view debates as an opportunity to develop my speaking and critical thinking skills, and learn more through the standpoints of my teammates, opponents and referees.

I love to read the scientific literature, books on self-development and on business. Last year, I realized that there is nothing more enlightening than fiction.

Motorcycles and bikes are also my passion. I believe that four wheels can carry a body, while two wheels can carry a soul. I am from Tajikistan, where mountains cover 93% of the territory, and I can assure you that leaving the countryside and biking in the mountains feels incredible.

I am much into Ultimate Frisbee - a sport that many people underestimate, thinking that it's nothing more than throwing the disc to each other. In fact, it is quite an energizing activity that looks like a mix of basketball and rugby, which requires a lot of fast running and high jumping, strategic thinking and resilience.

Music. Regardless of my mood and occupation, I can always listen to the music. I cannot imagine living music, which raises the spirits and motivates so much.

I am always open to new activities and experiences, as I believe that we should not be afraid of daring ourselves to try something new in our short lives. We can never know what might get stuck in our soul forever once we try it.
