About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Survive in the City :)
ABOUT ME
I'm an Italian guy who lives and works in London. I'm open-minded and eager to meet and make new "connections" with people all around the globe.
I earned my BS degree in Computer Science in Milan in December 2009. I've just obtained my MSc in Networked Computer Systems from UCL.
Having discovered the joys of travelling and meeting new people from foreign countries only recently, I'd like to make up for lost time as quickly as possible.
PHILOSOPHY
Enjoy your superlife!!! (thanks Sandra for teaching me this mantra :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I found out about CS only recently thanks to a video report about the CS experience that was broadcast from the Italian public broadcaster (btw this is the guy who made it), and have been convinced to become a member by my friend Adriano. Seeing how meaningful the CS experience has been for him, I'd like to do the same by hosting and surfing.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None (yet)
Interests
Meeting new people, especially if they are "culturally" distant from me (so I can learn their habits - and recipes! - and be a better citizen of the world)
Eating food from all around the world (oh yes, I love food)
Computers and computer networks
Riding old motorbikes & scooters (I own a 1963 Lambretta)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music... all of it, from electronic (MGMT, Huoratron, Aphex Twin) to commercial stuff (good for when you go to work in the morning and the brain is still switched off), metal (In Flames, Nightwish, Rhapsody -- great for when I'm angry or need to wake up). It depends whether I like the vibes it gives off or not.
Books... Andrea Camilleri, George Orwell (especially 1984)... these are just the first ones coming to mind
Movies... I love Quentin Tarantino's
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have danced naked in the rain. (ok, I don't usually do that, but that time it felt very appropriate)
I have had a bath in Lake Garda at midnight (in one word: COLD).
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach pretty much everything on computers, from how to install applications to how to replace a hard drive. I can cook, still expanding my repertoire (I can teach you some interesting recipes, though).
I want to learn new recipes from all around the world. I want to meet people who are different from me and learn their uses and costumes.
