Hello! My name is Jinny. I love to travel and go exploring. My partner and I recently moved to Duluth and we are planning on staying put here for the forseeable future. I think Couchsurfing is a great way to meet a lot of really interesting and inspiring people, and I have had some really awesome experiences thus far!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I like lots of music, especially rock and alternative rock. Some of my favorites right now are Said the Whale, Kongos, Vance Joy, Mother Mother, and Alt-J.

Movies: I don't really watch a lot of movies, but comedies are my favorite. Horrible Bosses, We're the Millers, Clerks, Four Lions, Office Space, Tropic Thunder, Tucker and Dale vs. Evil were all pretty great.

Books: I LOVE BOOKS. Especially sci-fi.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One Fall I worked as a seed collector for the University of Minnesota. My job was basically driving around the country by myself visiting prairies and national forests and looking for seeds to collect. Looking back, it was a pretty crazy job, but one that I'm glad I was able to experience.
