ABOUT ME

We are positive, amicable couple who love to travel and explore the world. We think that life is best shared and that is why we like the idea behind CS. There is no better way to get to know a place than through its people. We are very open-minded and always try to approach others with respect and interest. We both have nomadic souls and find it hard to settle down in one place. We have left our native Poland at the age of 20 and been challenging life ever since. After trying many places around Europe we really liked London and six years ago we’ve made it our ‘Head Quarter’. We have been a couple for over 10 years, got engaged last summer and getting married next year. We believe that life is a wonderful adventure (although sometimes difficult) and we try our best to embrace it. Julia works in travel and tourism industry as airlines sales and marketing executive. Bartek is working in a contemporary art gallery as a logistics and technical projects manager.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We were introduced to CS by our best friend who is an active CS user and we got a bug since then.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far (2012) we have hosted one person and surfed couples of times. We have also invited a trio from Poland for traditional 'Doughnut Day' party. Our apartment is small and thereby we are unable to host more than 2 people at a time.

Intereses

We enjoy the energy of big cities but always try to balance it out with escapes to the countryside and nature. We love simple things such as good food, interesting movies and books. We greatly enjoy photography and art both as creators and spectators. We both have creative minds and we are very passionate. We have thousands of ideas and dreams and our goal in life is to gradually making them come true.
