About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel the World

ABOUT ME

I am a full-time student studying to be a high school social studies teacher and I am also studying Spanish. I am currently studying for one semester in Spain. I want to see as much of the world as possible and enjoy interacting with new people and new cultures. My hobbies include reading, writing poetry and short stories, watching the history channel or reading books about history, and my cat.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing that I have ever done was teaching English in the Dominican Republic in the summer of 2008. It completely changed my entire life and inspired me in more ways that I thought was possible. It gave me a new outlook on life and made me want to be a better person that could (hopefully) make a positive impact on the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would be able to share my travel experiences and what I have learned from those experiences. At the same time, I would be excited to learn about the experiences of my host and what they could teach me about their country.
