Hi our names are Jarrad & Jackie. We like to live life to the fullest. Appricate the simple things in life; family, friends, good food, party, keeping active and exploring!We moved to country South Australia from Brisbane in the beginning of 2013. We now work and live on our own farm.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have hosted couch surfers in Brisbane and Jarrad has stayed with hosts in Europe. We can now host people on our farm and assist with accommodation, meals and tips on where to go and what to see.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was referred by a friend to couch surfing and have met some awesome people since signing up.

We are into travelling, hiking and having an active lifestyle. We enjoy surfing (when we can get to the beach), snowboarding (when we can get to the mountains), fishing and spending time with good company (when we are not working hard on our farm!)
At home we love growing our own food or buying locally grown food, appreciate good ingredients and cooking with friends.
Oh yeah and we love a cold beer or a fine wine!!!

We love music, Jarrad has a guitar and Jackie has a bongo drum which we like to play but we are not very good.. ha ha. We appreciate all genres of music but some of my recent fav's include;

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

There are so many amazing things to do & see in Australia. Some of my favorites have been - The Great Barrier Reef. Skydiving on the Sunshine coast. V8 supercar drive. Visiting Melbourne if you love sport & food(or shopping for the girls). Byron Bay & Fraser Island are definately not to be missed!!!

This is a cool section.
Well, because we live on a farm there is always plenty to do and plenty of things to learn! We have quad bikes, tractors, heaps of land and a home veggie garden. We would like to teach home grown veggie garden tips and also learn more! We would happily share some of the veggie garden, house or even farm work - ha ha!! Most important, it would be cool to share some good food & cooking, a few drinks and learn new recipes.
