ABOUT ME

I grew up, and am still currently living in, a small town in south-east Melbourne. Very pretty, lots of forest and trees. I love cooking, and finished my degree in patisserie last year. However, due to complete lack of funds, I'm currently working my ass off bartending to afford this trip to Europe with my bestie, Gem, so my life right now is lacking in excitement.
I'm pretty easy going, definitely not much of a plans person, just hoping to have some adventures and make new friends without getting terribly lost or stabbed.
Also, if you have the ingredients on hand, and you let me stay with you, I promise to make you pancakes for breakfast. I make some pretty wicked pancakes.

General participation. I've been very slack these past few years whilst I've been studenting, but I intend to get very involved as of now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only surfed with a couple of people so far, but they've all been really nice. I've had an amazing time so far!

Books - Metamorphosis, The Stranger, Tenderness, The Dressmaker, The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy, The Obernewtyn Series, anything by Robert Cormier, Robin Hobb, Yann Martel. I also like old stuff, the classics - Dickens, Austin, Thackeray, Wilde, Hardy.

Music - Birds of Tokyo, Muse, A Perfect Circle, Billie Holiday, Beck, Opeth, Lior, Josh Pyke, The Prodigy, Goyte, Sarah Blasko, Little Red, Tool, Rage Against The Machine, Radiohead.

My all-time favourite movie is 'Meet Joe Black'. Must have seen it at least 25 times.
