About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Moving from the Pacific Northwest to the Ozarks.
ABOUT ME
After years of pursuing the career and lifestyle I thought I wanted I realized my goals had changed and my life needed some adjusting. Now I'm creating a new life and the first step is a cross country move to the Ozarks. I plan to be homesteading and living close to nature in a sustainable manner, having a farm business including a nursery, a few crops and clay and textile crafts.
It took me a while to remember that what makes me happy is simple and is basically what I spent a lot of time doing as a child: making things with my hands, gardening: growing food and flowers, observing the perfection of nature, spending time with animals and sharing my enthusiasm for all these things with others.
PHILOSOPHY
I want to live in a way that reflects my highest self, keeping my heart and mind open, continuing to learn new things, and coexisting in harmony with the earth and all of life.

Music, Movies, and Books
Films: Y Tu Mama Tambien, Pans Labrynth, The Matrix
Books: The Ringing Cedars Series, Daughters of Copper Woman, Gaviotas
Music: just about anything but metal, contemporary pop and country. Some of my favorities are Bossa Nova, Brazillian jazz, Classical, some bluegrass, reggae and alternative.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I volunteered for a non profit organization in Brazil. I worked with children from low income families, doing art and gardening projects with them. I was blown away by their compassion, resilience and openness to me. We had so much fun together, despite my weak Portuguese. I learned a lot from them and am grateful for the experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm happy to share any knowledge I have about anything, most of which is art and gardening related. I appreciate good conversations and am always up for learning something new and hearing traveling stories.
What I Can Share with Hosts
An open mind and appreciation for having a comfortable place to stay. I'm happy to help with household chores, cooking, errands, gardening, just about anything. I'm a very domestic person, and I'm organized and clean!
I'm an obsessive knitter and typically have a collection of hats and fingerless gloves that I would happily give away as a thank you gift.
Countries I’ve Lived In
