I love reading aloud on long car rides. Talk about a captive audience!

Authors/Books: Suzan-Lori Parks' plays; Milan Kundera; Ian McEwan; Fitzgerald (blasphemy: I don't like "The Great Gatsby"); Harry Potter.

Movies: Anything by Wes Anderson, Julie Taymor, or Sofia Coppola.

Music: Punk rock; glam rock; new wave; experimental rock; and of course music from the Baroque and Romantic periods.

I also really enjoy listening to educational talk radio shows.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have performed in a pan-africanist play at Ghana's National Theater.
