ABOUT ME
The life?
There are those who protect it too much, who cloister themselves, who take neither the road nor the sky like a bird and who cross the road only at the crossing. No me.
I live in a city. I have got a bike, fortunately. I love cycling and felling the wind. To go to countryside when I have pain in my heart. City is sometimes oppressing. Too many brands, too many ads, too many lights. Listen to birds and enjoy the last ray of light, laid down the grass, surrounded by trees. Sceneries. Purity of nature. Take breath.
There are those who prefer its virtual side and are afraid of the "game over". No me. I prefer theatre, the art of words. Beautiful lyrics. Emotions and moods. Theatre is my remedy. No screen, no joystick. But contact human, the beautiful oral language.
And there are those who are out of control. Who take lettuce in one hand, guide book in the other, who like disguising themselves in funny clothes (tonight, why not a flying hippopotamus?) and try to mimic the koala : to live calmly.
(By the way, I will give you the recipe of eucalyptus cake). I sometimes have the impression of not being in my proper place. I want to feel the real freedom. No watch. No time. Just feel. When I was young, I often dreamt the same dream : In a forest, there was a mysterious wolf. I wanted to pet it, but he disappeared every time. Smack in the middle of the forest, there was a old merry-go-around in the shape of a watch where the seats were hands. I sit down and was ejected on a timeless hill where the wolf was waiting for me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm rather a fanatic of camping, bivouac.
I was not brought up and used to holidays in hotels, below a roof because my childhood was focus on itinerant travel thanks to my family.
I've discovered CS one year ago and I realized there was the opportunity to meet interesting people in their housing, new cultures and kind souls who consider travels as accumulation of open-mindedness and no as accumulation of wealth. It's an alternative to bivouac because, instead of being at the heart of nature, you are at the heart of a way of life, you can explore a place in a out of the ordinary way. And I start to understand the importance of safe sleeping (especially in huge cities)
Diversity give life to open-mindedness.
Interests
I'm fond of traveling : "it's a return to the essential" (Tibetan proverb). My mother did humanitarian works and gave me the appetite for travels and solidarity.
I enjoy nature and giving life to summer camps( Tonight guys, prevent Cinderella from becoming a pumpkin, Are you ready ?)
I like originality, don't like arrogance, stupid programms on TV and fast food. I'm fed up with the noise of spike heels on the floor and the sexist ads.
I don't understand barbarity and the power of superiority.
Why the poaching, the wearing of fur in temperate countries, deforestation and skyscapers which cut the horizon? I am having a hard time making sense of this.
