One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Many spontaneous trips like travelled alone Latvia-Italy-Germany and met many amazing people.
Bought tickets to Bangkok and didnt even think about it. I just did it! After that i was like "wtf i just did". One of the best things ive ever done.
This year me and my friend went to elderly care center (vanhainkoti) just to talk to elder people cause ive heard that some of them are lonely. It was so amazing that few words can make some persons day alot better. After that we went to shopping mall (Kamppi) and gave chocolate to random people. I will forever remember one womans face because first it was confused and after it was like the happiest ever. All of because 1 chocolate bar. Small things but i love to do this kind of stuff =)
I met 1 finnish girl on tinder. She was so shy so i though that it is my job to help her. So i met her few times trying to make her more confident. I didnt want anything from her, just wanted to help her. First she was literally hiding her face in her jacket and spoke so quietly. It was impossible to her to speak to random people. After 3 times we had met she was like a different girl. Total transformation! So confident! Didnt anymore speak so quietly! Before was afraid to look in to eyes but not anymore. I felt for a moment like i was a mother hen and my little bird flew from her nest.
I was living in Thailand 2009-2010. I lost my creditcard and didnt have much money. Near my home there was this very old thai man who was selling food on the street. I saw him everyday and he was like 90yo. He was working everyday in scorching weather and i felt abit sorry for him. A man at the age of 90 shouldnt be working anymore. So 1 day i went to talk to him. Like i said i didnt have money at all but i gave 50% of my money to him. First he said "i cant take it" but i insisted that he needs it more than me. I will forever remember his smile.
I encourage all of you to give much and take nothing back
