About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel the World, learn, connect and experience this adventure called Life!

ABOUT ME

NB!
I´M CURRENTLY TRAVELING AND UNABLE TO HOST until at least the end of 2018

I like to think of myself as an easygoing, optimistic and curious adventurer. I travel to learn and learn to travel. I believe that life is meant to be lived with passion, fun and enjoyment!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is an adventure and a learning experience. I choose to make mine a wild and fun filled journey through time and space!

Nature and people are the greatest source of wisdom, wealth and joy on this planet and are therefore the most valuable assets any of us can ever connect with. Nothing lasts forever and in the grand scheme of things the only material thing any of us ever really owns is our own body. In light of this the most sensible thing to occupy ones time with is learning, experiencing and connecting. Life is too short for holding back!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have discovered that I love interacting with people and making friends weather home or abroad.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have created a new profile for myself since I'm currently traveling alone. I have surfed many couches in Europe and Australia and hosted several people with my ex-girlfriend. Nearly every single one of them were positive and all of them taught me something. CS is an amazing project and I feel lucky to be a part of something that helps people to connect and share!

Interests

Learning, experiencing and evolving. I enjoy traveling, connecting with nature and making new friends. Hiking, bush walking, bicycle trips and camping. Photography and film making are long time hobbies that I plan to focus more on in the near future.

I'm also passionate about food (especially chocolate) and cooking. I love developing myself in various ways, be it playing music, sports (soccer, skateboarding, climbing), yoga, aikido or reading.

I drink tea consciously and I am always happy to share it with fellow wayfarers.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in movies and music is broad and somewhat idiosyncratic. One is equally likely to catch me enjoying a crime thriller, a comedy starring Will Ferrell, a nature documentary, a western, a drama or some oddball cult film. That said I do have some films I like to re-watch every now and again: Easy Rider, Five Easy Pieces, The Game, Fight Club, A Few Good Men, Chinatown, Donnie Darko, The Aviator, Matando Cabos, American Beauty, Jarhead, Heist, Snatch, Heat, Fear And Loathing in Las Vegas, The Royal Tennenbaums, Spaceballs, Tropic Thunder, End Of Watch, and most of the Tarantino stuff.

Some music I listen to (in no particular order): Tool, Cinematic Orchestra, Talking Heads, Monster Magnet, Air, Ludovico Einaudi, PJ Harvey, The Knife, Chet Faker, Rage Against The Machine, Ròisin Murphy, Bonobo, Mark Lanegan, The Black Keys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Morphine, James Brown, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Yeasayer, The Kills, Boney M, Chiq, Donna Summer, Tom Petty, Johhny Cash, Peaches, Popidiot, Tõnis Mägi, Vaiko Eplik, Röövel Ööbik, Genialistid, Riho Sibul...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sunrise at Grand Canyon. Sneaking into the rooftop pool of Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore at night :). Traveling long term. Being a part of Global Tea Hut.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Estonian, juggling, guitar, cooking and share stories & experiences.

I used to work in a small bean-to-bar chocolate factory so I can also tell you about different cacao varietals and chocolates :)

Writing
