我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Traveling isn't nearly as fun without meeting cool people and there's nothing like being shown around by a local. I've surfed a couple of times and have been super impressed with the warm and trusting nature of all of my hosts so far. Additionally, I found the local CS meetings an amazing way to make new friends when I lived abroad.

Hugely into rock climbing and traveling, otherwise a bit of a homebody. I'm pretty passionate about music and film and spend a lot of time exploring both.

Again, all sorts. I'm a little picky and tend to skip the blockbusters, but otherwise I've got pretty broad interests and enjoy foreign cinema (Japanese, Korean, Scandinavian, ...)

Can't really pin it down to one specific moment or experience, but the couple of times I've gone WWOOF'ing / volunteering have been amazingly rewarding experiences, each of them pulling me out of my daily routine for a while, allowing me to work with my hands and immerse myself in a totally different lifestyle.
