ABOUT ME

I'm a photojournalist with an MA from the Missouri School of Journalism in Columbia. Visit my portfolio at http://www.jakob-berr.com. My fiancé Beth and I love to travel and meet all kinds of people. We're passionate outdoors people and prefer a bad night's sleep in the woods to a good night's sleep in the city. Work keeps us in the city though (for now), but we try to get out as much as possible.

Music: Everything made with passion and not money in mind. Ranges from Classic to Jazz to Electronic. For dancing and partying mostly electronic.
Books: I wish I had more time for reading books these days. I'm spending most of my reading time with the newspaper.

I love my profession (photojournalism) and can go on talking about it forever. I also know quite a bit about Bangladesh and India from staying there for almost a year and a half. Through my job at the newspaper, I'm more or less informed about what's going on in the world. I'm curious to learn about pretty much everything and it's easy to find a conversation topic with me.
