ABOUT ME

I guess could say I am a positive and dynamic person. I love my husband, my family and my friends more than anything.

I can say I am happiest when I am outside, ideally jogging or at the summit of a mountain I just climbed!

I am a physician in Montreal, my main practice is obstetrics and I do a lot of teaching, I adore what I do and work almost all the time, that's why I really need to travel every now and then.

PHILOSOPHY

To be positive! I make it a point to always try to see the good side of every situation!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had the best experiences with Couchsurfing. I used it for the first time in Italy in 2010 where my host was already hosting but offered his "private beach". Being a fan of the outdoors, I jumped on this opportunity and I spent my first night under stars... it was magic. The temperature was perfect, warm but with a soft breeze and I fell asleep to the sound of the Mediterranean waves.

Since then, I have mostly been hosting which allowed me to meet incredible people. I love to learn about other countries and cultures!

Interests

I love to be active, anything that moves, I am in! I am mostly into soccer (I've been playing my whole life), jogging and anything outdoorsy: mountain climbing and all the wonderful winter sports Canada has to offer: cross-country skiing, backcountry skiing, snowshoeing...

I am also very much of a nerd at heart, I love school and books, always have, always will!

Books, I love books, any kind, I'll at least try!

I would have to say my favorite is "To Kill a Mockingbird".

And my childhood fav: Anne of Green Gables (a Canadian classic), Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and Jack and the Giant peach!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sleeping under the stars on the shore of the Mediterranean sea is one of my favs.
