About Me

I am Jace Sarmiento from the Philippines. I am an entrepreneur who runs food bottling business. I live in Silang, Cavite with my partner. We welcome you in our humble pad.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Living with locals, having a talk or bonding with them, experiencing their cultures and traditions and understanding different things about their lifestyle - that's what drives me to be here on Couchsurfing. These are the things that you wouldn't find in a fancy hotel or simply by availing tour packages with tourists. Traveling is my life thus for me, to live is to experience, and experiencing the lives of a local adds to my joyful living.

Interests

My interest is basically traveling and I am into backpacking where my goal is to travel to wonderful places but not spending too much. I also devote my time to photography and graphics design.

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, I am not so much into music and movies but I still do listen to some sort of Alternative and Rock and watch movies that are fast paced. I hate it when a movie has a lot of talking... I am more into action scenes. When it comes to books, I do read a couple of it. But mostly, I read books through internet...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Definitely, VOLUNTEERISM... I do engage myself into 'traveling with a cause' projects by my group "Backpackers of the Philippines." We are going to various places around the Philippines to give aid and relief and to support the Filipino youth by donating books, school supplies, slippers, shoes and others that they need in their daily schooling.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I can teach and share my passion for volunteerism to those hosts or couchsurfers that I will be meeting... I also love to learn about their cultures and traditions

What I Can Share with Hosts

Share my travel experiences, the things that I've done, inspire them by volunteering for the youth and also, if will be given a chance to be hosted, a simple token that I will give to them will serve as a great remembrance.

Countries I’ve Visited

Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Singapore, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
