Hi, my name is Jacek, me and my girl Joanna travel around world. We are students from Poland, we are in the same age of 22. Travelling completly flipped ours worlds upside down, because on one of trips we met each other, exactly in USA on one of Work&Travel programs and everthing began! Now we are on our gap year between Bachelor and Master degree. We are both pretty sport people, love travelling like everyone here, but we are looking for something more, taste live as much as we can. I'm freak on martial arts, I have been practicing taekwondo(at the begining) now muay thai since 8th grade, also I enjoy more peaceful sports like gym, swimming or trekking. Joanna is semi-profiesional horse rider, she has her own horse name Kartagina. She as well has got second big hobby, that's pole dance.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've heard a bunch of amazing stuff about this page from websites, blogs or friends of mine. That's the best and the safest way to travel, because locals are the best knowledge of their own environment. Couchsurfing as well is great place to meet open-minded and outgoing people who will have similar point of view about world around us and way of travel. We would like to take advantage of this time to find ourselves in current world, where everybody runs for something and truly wonder about what we would like to do in live.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourit music, it's not easy to choose, because on path to adulthood it has been changing, I've tasted everthing a little, now it's mainly hip-hop, electronic music or good movies soundtrucks. I also enjoy listening mainstream music during driving car, or local music like loud Indian music in their buses ;)
About books: before university it was fantasy, but know it's hard to say, a little bit of all kind, but mainly becasue of study are notes which will help me to pass exams! Last book is: Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow by Yuval Noah Harari.
Films, I don't watch a lot of them, I prefer TV series, all kind, I've seen lot of them, mainly the most known, like: Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Westworld, Gomorra, Rick and Morty, Narcos, La casa de papel, Vikings, Stragner Things, Black Mirror, more more and more, hard to count.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We are able to do bunch of stuff, the most improtant of these are smile and a lot of positive energy. Joanna finished degree about tourism and recreation, we have seen a lot, with our know how and knowledge we will squezze the best out of every place and every person! We are able to learn you how to prepare polish food, a little bit of that, but don't expect too much, we are students, our meals should be cheap and fast to prepare!Of course about polish and european history. We are both native speakers in Polish, so if you'd like to learn, we can do that, we are both fluently talking in English and Joanna in Spanish, then we can practice if you want.
