Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I found this alternative way of traveling from my friend when once he brought his guest with him for our fire place in the woods. Then i started to thing that here is another interesting way of visiting places and meeting people than just go trough the travell books, or blogs (which are quite often more interesting) or just keep walking around with hope that I'll see some fascinating places (don't get me wrong it is still great way to do so) . On that day my head opened when i tough: wow how much nice places could I show or point to this guy, how many people did he met just because of being then and there with us. So, hey I want to do it too, and I can. And there is probably lots of people who could do the same for others. So i decided to join, and see what is the next adventure :)

Interests

I love sea, probably because all my child hood spent by beauty full Polish sea. My other love are mountains, because these are wild, and quite often untouched by human beings. Love situations when you have to stop to breath to hear the mountain silence.... But I can not be there every moment of my life, so in between to make a good use of my energy like to do some fitness classes, swimming, yoga, ect...

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is another thing that I can elaborate :) I can spend whole freezy night listening when someone plays guitar by the fire. I was raised on metal/punk music in early 90's but I like Blues, feel good old Funk, appreciate electronic music (no it is not techno :) ), also like music with the heart bit, and as native Polish can spend hours with polish artist of all sort. But still the best artists are the ones, which you can hear they give a part of their soul to what they do, no mater if it is rap, jazz or call it how you want.

About books. Unfortunately I do not have enough time to read as much as I would like to, but can listen a lot, so I choose audio books and I'm deep in fantasy. Lately I discovered adventure/travel books, and biographies.

About movies, I'll give just one masterpiece title from 1957 "12 angry man" ... thank you :)
