ABOUT ME
I like the smell of the paper and wood, restless ocean, trees, universe, wild animals, meditation, tea, simplicity, how the dogs have fun just going around their tail and many other things.
I like living consciuos life and do the effort to live better and be more free and independent. I like going out of ego at least once a day. I like to travel, read and get familiar with unfamiliar. I like to learn languages, get to know different cultures in practice and tame the fears.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm sure that world is full of secrets, our life, things and whole universe included and I don't believe philosophers who think through words only. My main inspirations lay down in the East, I admire Upanishads, Eliade books on India, Alan Watts lectures.
I also really like this title of Mekas movie: "As I was Moving Ahead, Occasionally I saw Brief Glimpses of a Beauty".
Sometimes I feel that the world is a big playground and God is a dancer. I want to play and laugh and leave all uncertainty and human thought labirynths behind. I don't really like conceit of science and fully adhere to Einstein's opinion on knowledge: it is beautiful by itself as it reaveals the universe mindful structure.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This is the way to get the real things, not plastic souvenirs out of crowdy markets. I'd love both host and surf and it is like two sides of a coin.
Interests
Well, I am who I am. I am not sure whether my interests really describe me that well. Rather the values I have. What you do is important, not saying it's not but more than that is what person you are and what things trigger your live forward. What I believe in? In trust, mutual relationships, being fair, balance, simplicity, non-consumerism, empathy. Roughly.
I do not enjoy alco or any soft-drugs (not mentioning anything hardcore). So if those things make you happy (which I doubt they could), please do not visit me. I'm not saint, no. I have a beer or whisky from time to time and even smoke a cigarette sometimes (usually regret straight after)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Worked in Ajuda schools, Lisbon and got to know fabulous kids from social neighbourhoods. Learnt what means social work there. Once on my way back from school I found on a pavement a playing card which was a King Heart. Well, love is king, as they sing.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, I can just share my time with you. The takeouts for both sides are always 'this' thing that make me want to meet people. Some of these meetings evolved in long friendships that changed my life in many ways. Some were more brief, but still nice.
