I am in love with myself, with my heart. I am a Trans Woman. A girl with a mind, a woman with attitude, and a lady with class. Yes, I am a woman. I push doors that clearly say pull. I laugh harder when I try to explain why I am laughing. I walk into a room and forget why I was there. I count on my fingers in math. I hide the pain from my loved ones. I say it is a long story when it's really not. I cry a lot more than you think I do. I care about people who don't care about me. I try to do things before the microwave beeps. I listen to you even when you don't listen to me. And a hug will always help. I am a girl who is quiet in large groups or around people, I don't know. You only see the real me if we're closed. I smile and laugh a lot, specially at the most inappropriate times. I'm a hopeless romantic. I trip over air, up stairs and over people's feet. I am the hardest person to offend, but it is all too easy to make me feel horrible. I hate telling people about my problems, they don't need to worry about me. I am the one who listens to other people's problems. I believe people should not be judged one takes the time to get to know them, yet I am guilty of doing that exact thing. I love think rather than talk. Sometimes I am awkward, clumsy, shy, strange.. but this is me. I want to be like a sunflower; so that even on the darkest days I will stand tall and find the sunlight.
