I’ve been living in Monterrey, Mexico since August 2025. I love traveling and getting to make friends and community all over the world. I absolutely love learning slang, idioms, or any part of your language or culture!

I also like any kind of Mexican music… norteños, banda, cumbiatón, reggaeton mexa. I’m always ready for music recommendations.

Some of my hobbies are yoga, meditation, swimming, working out, roller skating, dancing salsa, and reading.

I like meeting locals everywhere I go. Life’s not meant to be individualistic. There’s immense power when we share and extend love to strangers.

I’m very simple when it comes to the things I enjoy. Tell me a story, share your childhood experiences growing up in your country, let’s go out to walk/eat/museum/cultural event. Anything a person has to offer I’m happy to receive.

My favorite music genres are reggaeton, Chicano, Motown, reggae, 90's R&B and Hip hop, and neo-soul.

I love connecting with my inner child. I feel like the older I get the more in stuck in the 90s & early 2000s. I’m always listening to music from that time, or watching the cartoons from my childhood like SpongeBob and Avatar 🤪. I love Britney Spears, Avril Lavigne, Blink-182, Sublime, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, T-Pain…. Anything 90s & 00s

I love books about Black history, personal finance, self-help, positivity, mindfulness, etc.
I don't watch movies too much because I don't have time for TV.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Solo trip to Jamaica in 2020.... I was so proud of my bravery to do this alone and force myself out of my comfort zone! Also my first couchsurfing experience was there too

In 2021 I moved to Mexico and I moved back here again in 2025

Also I’m proud of myself for teaching myself how to speak Spanish fluently before moving to mexico
