Resumen
Sobre mí
I'm a fine art graduate with aspirations of making the whole art thing finally work for me some day! I love travel (duh) but not a fan of touristy shit; I prefer to chill at cafes to experience new cultures and visit galleries and museums. I'm into literature & the arts in general and good interesting conversation, ha, or just talking crap and having a good time! :-) Love coffee and also a rather excellent cook if I must say so myself, so if you're hosting/surfing with me, I'll definitely offer to make you some lovely dinner! :-)
(Just to clarify; this used to be a joint profile, hence the mention of a guy called Paul in the references but now it's just mine :-p )
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
I've been on CS for over 2 years now and have had the most amazing experiences and had made some great lifelong friends. For me, this is what it's about, making connections, exploring new places, sharing ideas and leaving a city with a wealth of memories, experiences and new friends. :-) (Sounds super hippie-ish but true! X) )
Intereses
Reading (mainly classics and academic stuff about art & cultural studies), art (making and viewing, especially contemporary art), listening to music, cinema, amazing food (cooking and eating of course), coffee, beer, travelling (obviously), linguistics, podcasts

Música, películas y libros
BOOKS: Reading is one of my big passions. When I'm not reading something academic related to my artwork, I love stuff like the work of Steinbeck, Faulkner, Dosteovsky & Cormac McCarthy.
MUSIC: Quite the varied taste in music! Living in Berlin of course I have to enjoy techno and electronic music! :-p but also a big fan of classic rock and basically anything from the 80s. Currently obsessed with Bon Iver's new album.
MOVIES: God! Where the fuck to start? I go to the cinema almost every week, love the classics like the Godfather & Apocalypse Now as well as more kind of art house stuff and surrealist shit, The Holy Mountain is my new fav I think. Anything that's a bit weird and heavy is good with me as well as the light and fluffy easy-watching stuff like Moulin Rouge or comedy like Wayne's World.
TV: British/Irish comedy mainly such as Black Books, Peep Show, The Mighty Boosh but also some American shows like Archer, the Sopranos & of course Breaking Bad
Algo increíble que he hecho
One night I caught a fly with one hand whilst lying in bed (on my first attempt) and didn't even kill it, caught it by its wings, so I released it back outside; it was pretty amazing....that's probably the most amazing thing I've ever done. :-p (This is actually a true story!)
Hitchhiked and couchsurfed around Europe for 5 months.
Swimming in the Adriatic at sunset in Pula.
Touched Iggy Pop's wrinkly punk-god chest
Walked the Camino Frances all the way from St.Jean-Pied-de-Port to Finisterre.
Moved to Berlin with no money and just the bag on my backs and somehow managed to make things work out (even if it still is a work-in-progress!)
Enseña, aprende, comparte
We can teach you how to make my famous soda bread! :-D
Useless Irish slang words.
How to pull a proper pint of Guinness ;-)
