ABOUT ME

I'm a 29-year-old bike commuter from Minneapolis, Minnesota, who wants to see more of the world. I work 9 months a year so I can travel the other 3. I practice yoga, and I love all types of films. I live in community in the city, and we have a garden and 6 chickens!

PHILOSOPHY

I want to see more of the world: whether that is seeing refugees that have moved to my city (Minneapolis) or visiting new places. I want to be constantly broadening my perspective to include all perspectives. I want to value the oneness of all life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently using CS to meet new and interesting people while I travel. I live in a community house with 6 adults and 2 kids. Now that the kids are no longer infants, we're pretty excited to start hosting fellow travelers. If I'm too busy to host, I'm always good to grab a bite or drink or give good advice about my city. I LOVE my city!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had only good CS experiences. Most nights that I was in New Zealand were spent with a CS host or camping, and the same is true for Puerto Rico. I also met some wonderful CSers in Australia!

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach how to raise chickens, yoga, basic bike maintenance, and ad lib grunge cooking (it's where you combine strange ingredients to make amazing dishes!)
I would love to learn more bike maintenance, baking skills, and more about gardening.
