I am looking to make the most of travelling around, meeting new people, and climbing to new heights.
I have travelled mostly around Europe and also to NZ, I want to continue my appetite for adventure in Europe a little more before travelling further afield. Next SOUTH AMERICA!
I enjoy listening to adventures and sharing my own, finding the hidden locations in cities- what better way to do that than CS.
Would love to do some urban exploration if anyone knows any spots in their area. I also particularly love rock climbing. I like live music and dancing to it without shame.
We design and change ourselves depending on the environment we put ourselves into- travelling and CSing seems a great way to meet people who create a constructive environment for the self. Lets build a better 'us'!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love authenticity and there seems no better way to get that than meeting the people that live in the places I want to go- and they recommend taking me.
I love meeting people and learning about cultures, from their grand history to everyday life. Each place has its own quirks and personality, just like people and i love unlocking them.
I love to climb hike and explore the outdoors whenever I can whether it be a stroll in the woods, hike up a mountain or canoe along a river. Whatever it is, i'm down. I like to go with the flow but also not afraid to make suggestions!
Couchsurfing culture seems to be perfect for me and i hope some day soon I will be able to host others.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite artist is hands down Paolo Nutini (particularly Iron Sky)
but it would be hard to guess that based on my spotify which has everything from jazz-hop, soul and reggae to folk-rock and psych-pop.

Favourite/most watched movies have got to be LOTR franchise (of course), Tarzan (gotta have a favourite Disney film), 1408(best, thriller, ever), dances with wolves (childhood classic for me, somehow)

Books: When I have read for pleasure it has mostly been dystopian novels, I loved The Iron Heel and Recently finished A Brave New World so recommendations welcome!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

one of the most spectacular things I have experienced is bungee jumping off of Victoria Falls in Zambia. I was very lucky to be able to go there and experience the jump as well as the wildlife and some locals.

However, if it is meant to be asking for what I am most proud of, it would have to be beginning an after school drama club for year 7-9's when I was in 6th form. I believe this was one of the things I did as a teenager that really sparked my interest in teaching and education. I love motivating and imparting any knowledge of a subject I may have and also the amazing things you learn about and from your students.

I can help anyone with their english- in fact a future plan is to take part in TEFL.

I want to learn spanish so that I can comfortably travel south america and really immerse myself there.

I want to practice yoga, I have a couple of basics up my sleeve.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Any enthusiasm you have I will sense and probably end up getting excited too and redouble your energy! I bring good energy and am also not afraid of the kitchen!
I can also teach rock climbing (if we can source another harness or find a bouldering area!)
We can share walking experiences, whether it be hills or streets.
