About Me
Hey hey hey! I'm Jack, I'm 21, Londoner but have been living surrounded by sheeps cows for the majority of my life so far in rural England... so naturally want to see a bit more of the world. I'm a solo-traveller so always up for meeting new people and seeing new places. I've spent months in Thailand recently but plan on visiting the US soon enough!
Into exploring, volunteering, adventures, music, sports (F1/football), clubbing, gaming, adventures, seeing the sites a city or place has to offer. Like learning about cultures, politics, religion, and philosophy where I can. Will be studying at King's College London after my travels.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm a solo-traveller, so mainly to meet other travellers and locals!
Usually I when I travel I stay (and have worked!) in hostels as they're great to meet people, but I want to attend more Couchsurfing events, and may request to be hosted in certain cities as often getting to know locals of an area can be a bit more of an enriching experience and be a bit more meaningful. I understand some people choose not to host people who haven't hosted themselves, but hopefully when I'm living in a more metropolitan area Ill be able to extend the hand that was once extended to me - I'm aware of CS' culture and defo' don't want to be all take on here.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm constantly listening to and checking out new music, also enjoy *trying* to dance at clubs & checking out bars (I mean, I'm British :P). Sometimes go to Berlin and enjoy the techno clubs there. Fan of Eurovision if you know that!
I listen mostly to 80s music though. Some music I like: Depeche Mode, Queen, Years & Years, Madonna, Oasis, The Killers, Pet Shop Boys, Fleetwood Mac, Lady Gaga, Pink Floyd, Coldplay, The Beatles, Hunter Hayes, Simon & Garfunkel, Cher, The 1975, Elton John, Duran Duran, Wham, Foster The People, Katy Perry, Kim Wilde. Once drunkenly got a whole pub singing Piano Man by Billy Joel.
As for books, I enjoy reading real life stories. Slave by Mende Nazer is a book that sticks in my mind. The Remains of The Day is my favourite fiction book. Enjoying reading books about culture, religion, history & politics.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Going to the Sahara Desert was pretty amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm an open book and I'm happy to just get to know people. Whether that be sharing perspectives on the world or having a drink together. I just wanna' have fun, get to know people, and maybe learn a bit a long the way.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd say I'm easy to talk to, and like listening to others - their stories, life experiences, opinions, cultural differences - you name it.
Happy to help with cleaning or any help you would like.
